This is a hotrod and not a trailer queen .. .
1948 all steel Ford coupe powered by a small block chevy motor. The transmission is a chevy turbo 400 with a shift kit, powering thru to early gm rear (part number matches up to 1959 corvette and others) with street gears. The paint is in pretty nice overall condition. Car shines and she gets a lot of attention when I'm cruising around town. There are a few small blemishes and chips here and there from the normal wear of driving and age but she shows nicely and gets compliments where ever I go.
The rear half of the frame has coil overs with shocks and trailing arms. Has a complete exhaust with tips slightly past rear of bumper. Mufflers are cherry bombs. Front control arms have urethane or rubber bushings.
Trim and chrome is in overall nice shape. Roll up windows and hood vent opens and closes
Front end control arms are not oem and rack and pinion steering along with the front disc brakes makes her car handle and stop unlike any ordinary 48 Ford. Please keep in mind there is no powering steering. But not hard to drive at all without it. The interior was tastefully done in black and red leather along with the red headliner being in really nice condition. The trunk is clean and detailed with custom black and red panels that match the interior. Lots of $money$ invested in this car.

THIS IS A NICE RIDE, but not an indoor show car, there are some small pits in headlight bezels and far inside of foose wheels. But car shows nice overall and great for cruise nights. One vent window bottom on the rear window is broke. Electric trunk popper needs to be aligned better.
